Services for Cherry Creek North were provided by staff at Communication Arts, Inc. prior to their employment with Stantec. CommArts, now Stantec ViBE, was asked by the Cherry Creek North Business District in Denver to prepare a conceptual study to create an appropriate, vibrant, and new environmental image for the District, with particular emphasis on the streetscape and identity issues.

CommArts, now Stantec ViBE, was asked by the Cherry Creek North Business District in Denver to prepare a conceptual study to create an appropriate, vibrant, and new environmental image for the District, with particular emphasis on the streetscape and identity issues.

Materials, surfaces, lighting, wayfinding, identity signage, special features, and amenities, as well as issues of maintainability, were addressed in the conceptual study. On the basis of this study, the Business Improvement District sold $18.5 million in bonds for the specific purpose of upgrading the area’s streetscape. Cherry Creek North has over 350 businesses that make up the neighborhood, ranging from independents to internationals featuring a unique range of fashion, jewelry, home furnishing stores, spas/salon, art galleries, and restaurants.
